Missed Class Policy

Missed a class? Going on a family holiday? See below for what to do. Please note that each school holiday we have a one week break. Please refer to our Lesson Calendar on our notice board.

 

Short Absence

There will be no replacement or make up classes if a student is absent. Student can come to hand in / collect their homework, OR choose to attend a free tutorial session that we run during the term holidays. Please note that this is a general session for students of all levels and it may not be conducted by the student’s regular trainer.

If a student misses their regular class due to a public holiday, a pro-rata lesson fee will be refunded the following month.

 

Planned Absence

2 or more weeks

In instances when students are going to be absent for a period of two or more weeks, an application for a full or partial credit can be made.

What to do:

Complete and e-amail a lesson fee adjustment form 14 days prior to the period of absence.

Illness or Injury

2 or more weeks

If a student misses classes for a period of two or more weeks for a medical reason, an application for a full or partial credit can be made.

What to do:

Send an email advising S.A.M of the absence. Once the return date is known, complete and submit a lesson fee adjustment form together with a medical certificate.
